Dianomi Advertising Guidelines
Dianomi works exclusively with premium publishers who hold us to high standards. To maintain quality, all advertising campaigns are subject to manual review and approval.
Campaign Approval Process
All campaigns must be manually approved by Dianomi. This begins once you click “Save and send for approval.”
- If submitted during UK, US, or Australian business hours, campaigns are typically approved within one hour.
- Please allow up to one business day for review if submitted outside of these hours, or during weekends and holidays.
Ads That Will Not Be Approved
Dianomi reserves the right to reject or remove any advertisement at our sole discretion. The following types of content are not permitted:
Formatting Restrictions
- No use of ALL CAPS or exclamation marks in ad text.
Prohibited Content
- Binary options (prohibited in some jurisdictions, including Australia)
- Fraud, scams, pyramid schemes
- Inappropriate, misleading, defamatory, or sensational content
- Alcohol, tobacco, weapons, nudity, pornography, hate speech, or racist content
- Illegal activities or infringement of intellectual property rights
- Gambling-related content
Crypto & Financial Services Advertising
Cryptocurrency
We only accept crypto-related ads from companies regulated by a financial authority in a major jurisdiction.
Financial Services
Ads promoting financial services must comply with regulatory requirements in their target jurisdictions. For example:
- Australia: Must hold an AFSL (Australian Financial Services Licence) and display the licence number.
- Singapore: Must be listed on the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Financial Institutions Directory.
Ads promising guaranteed or high returns may be rejected. Certain investment types may require longer review times.
Investor Relations / Stock Recommendations
To advertise stock-related content, the company must meet the following criteria:
- Regulated if offering any financial services
- Publicly listed for over 12 months
- Annual revenue of at least $10M
- Market capitalization of over $30M
- Share price above $1
- Listed on a regulated G20 stock exchange (e.g., NOT OTCQB, Pink Sheets, or NASDAQ Capital Markets)
- The stock and its directors need to have a good reputation - no history of legal or regulatory issues
- Advertorial landing page must include all legally required disclaimers
- Content must not promise unrealistic returns
Special Categories
Marijuana Advertising
- Must be labeled under the correct Product Type (“Marijuana Investing” or “Marijuana ETF”)
- Ads are blocked by some publishers
- Avoid low-quality imagery (e.g., just a leaf) and sensational text
Play Buttons
- Ads featuring play buttons in the hero image are not allowed on Apple News publishers.
Publisher-Specific Blocking
Some publishers may restrict ads in certain categories, such as:
- Politics
- Contracts for Difference (CFDs)
- Cryptocurrency
- Marijuana
