Please note: This guide applies to the new Analytics Reporting interface, released in September 2026. If you do not yet have access to the latest interface, please contact help@dianomi.com or speak to your account manager.
Scheduled Reports allow you to schedule an Analytics report to be generated and sent by email automatically on a recurring basis.
This is useful if you or your team regularly review the same performance data, as you can have the latest report delivered directly to selected recipients without needing to log in to the Dianomi dashboard and download it manually each time.
You can choose which report to send, who should receive it, the reporting period and campaign filters to apply, how frequently it should be delivered, and the file format recipients receive.
Creating an Scheduled Report
To create a Scheduled Report, first open the report you want to schedule. This can be an existing report or a new report you have created.
Then follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open the Schedules page
From the report you want to automate, click the clock icon in the top-right corner of the report table.
This will take you to the Schedules page, where you can view the Scheduled Reports currently set up for this report.
From here, you can create a new schedule or manage your existing Scheduled Reports.
Step 2: Create a new Scheduled Delivery
Click New Scheduled Delivery at the top of the Schedules page.
This will open the scheduling form for the report you were previously viewing.
The form allows you to configure when the report should be generated, what data it should contain, and who should receive it.
Step 3: Configure your report schedule
Complete the scheduling form with the settings you want to use for your Scheduled Report.
You will be able to configure the following:
- Schedule Name – Give the schedule a clear and recognisable name. This will make it easier to identify and manage later, particularly if your account has multiple scheduled reports.
- Description – Add a description explaining the purpose of the report or what it contains. This can be useful for distinguishing between similar report schedules.
- Recipients – Enter the email addresses of the people who should receive the report. You can add the relevant members of your team or other stakeholders who need regular access to the data.
- Export Format – Select the file format in which the report should be delivered.
- Date Range – Choose the reporting period that should be included each time the report is generated. This determines the period of performance data included in each scheduled delivery.
- Campaign Filtering – Apply campaign filters if you only want the report to include data for specific campaigns. If no campaign filtering is required, the report can include all applicable campaign data.
- Report Sent Time – Choose the time at which you would like the report to be generated and sent to the selected recipients.
- Report Interval – Choose how frequently the report should be sent. This determines the recurring delivery schedule for the Scheduled Report.
Before creating the schedule, review these settings to make sure the report will contain the right data and be delivered to the correct recipients at the required frequency.
Step 4: Test or create your schedule
Once you have completed the scheduling form, you have the option to send an example of the report to yourself immediately.
This is a useful way to check the report's contents and export format before setting up the recurring delivery.
When you are happy with the configuration, select the option to create the Scheduled Report.
Your schedule will then be saved and the report will automatically be generated and emailed to the selected recipients according to the delivery settings you have chosen.
Managing your Scheduled Reports
You can return to the Schedules page at any time to manage the Scheduled Reports associated with your account.
From the Schedules page, you can:
- View your existing Scheduled Reports and their delivery settings.
- Edit a schedule if you need to change its recipients, filters, delivery frequency, or other settings.
- Delete a schedule when you no longer want the report to be sent automatically.
This makes it easy to update your reporting setup as your campaigns and reporting requirements change.
