Optimize performance by device
Device Bidding allows you to increase or decrease your bids based on device type—desktop, tablet, and mobile—to better align with performance and user behavior.
Applies to:
Native, Video, and Podcast ads only.
Does not apply to Display, Canvas, Content Hub, or Native Verified formats.
Availability:
Device Bidding is not enabled by default. It can be activated by your Account Manager at the account level, campaign level, or both.

Timeframe
This drop down will show impressions, clicks, CTR and Actions by device in the chosen time frame. For example, choose clicks by device in the last 7 days.
Price Adjustment
Here you can increase or decrease the CPC bid by device – in the example above desktop CPCs have been increased by 5% and mobile decreased by 5%.
Delete a price adjustment
An adjustment can be Deleted again by doing the following: edit the Price Adjustment, check the box for “Delete Adjustment” and “Save Changes”
Why would you use Device Bidding?
-
Previously, you may have duplicated campaigns for different devices (e.g., one for desktop, one for mobile).
Now, a single campaign can serve all devices with CPCs weighted accordingly. -
If a campaign performs better on mobile or desktop, you can optimize CPCs per device to improve ROI.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Combined publisher bidding and device bidding adjustments are multiplicative. For example, if you have a base price of 1 that you adjust the percentage for desktop campaigns to 100%, and then do so for Publisher A set at 100%, the overall base price for Publisher A on Desktop will be 4.
