How Often Will You Be Charged?
Your credit card will be charged automatically based on your campaign spending at predefined intervals. Payments are processed once your campaign spend reaches a specified threshold, known as the Billing Terms Amount (typically set at $100).
How Does the Charging Process Work?
For example, if your campaign spend reaches $101 and your Billing Terms Amount is set at $100, a charge will be triggered immediately for the amount spent. This ensures that your campaign continues running smoothly without interruptions. The system will continue charging your card at each billing threshold as your campaign accumulates spending.
What Happens If a Payment Fails?
If a payment attempt is unsuccessful—for instance, due to insufficient funds, card expiration, or bank restrictions—your account and campaigns will be temporarily suspended until a valid payment method is provided. To avoid interruptions, we recommend keeping your payment details up to date and ensuring your card has sufficient funds.
All card transactions are securely processed through Stripe, a globally trusted payment platform. You can find more details about Stripe and its security policies here.
Why Does the Amount Charged to Your Card Differ from Your Campaign Spend?
In some cases, the amount charged to your card may not match your exact campaign spend. This discrepancy typically happens for the following reasons:
-
Card Processing Fees
Every card transaction incurs a processing fee, which varies depending on the issuing country of your card and the currency used for your campaign. These additional fees for your card are shown in the Billing Section of your account. -
Local Sales Taxes
Depending on your location, applicable local taxes may be added to your campaign spend. These taxes include, but are not limited to:- VAT (Value-Added Tax) in the UK
- GST (Goods and Services Tax) in Australia
To see the breakdown of card processing fees and taxes applied to your campaign spend please view your invoices which can be accessed via the billing section of your account.
