At Dianomi, we prioritize the security and seamless management of payments for our advertisers. All credit and debit card transactions on Dianomi accounts are securely processed through Stripe, a leading global payment processor trusted by businesses worldwide.
When entering or updating your credit card details on your Dianomi account, the process is handled through Stripe’s secure payment form, ensuring compliance with industry security standards and minimizing the risk of fraud.
How to Add or Update Your Credit Card on Dianomi
1. Adding a Card During Account Sign-Up
- When initially creating your Dianomi account, you will be prompted to enter your credit or debit card details via a secure Stripe form.
- This step ensures your account is set up for seamless ad campaign billing.
2. Updating Your Card in the Billing Section
- If you need to update or change the payment card linked to your account, you can do so at any time from the Billing page in your Dianomi dashboard.
- Simply enter the new card details, and Stripe will securely process the update.
Accepted Payment Cards
Dianomi accepts all major card types, including:
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express - AMEX, etc.)
- Debit Cards (including bank-issued cards with Visa or Mastercard branding)
- Corporate & Business Cards
Regardless of the type of card used, all transactions are processed via Stripe’s secure payment infrastructure.
Verification Process for New Card Additions
To prevent fraud and enhance security, Stripe may require additional verification when adding a new card to your account. This step ensures that the cardholder is authorized to use the card.
Verification Steps:
-
Bank Authentication – When entering a new card, your bank may require you to verify the transaction through Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), such as:
- A one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone or email.
- A security prompt in your bank’s mobile app.
- $0.00 Authorization Hold – Stripe may send a temporary $0.00 authorization charge to your card. This is not an actual charge but a security measure to confirm that the card details are valid.
- Final Confirmation – Once your bank confirms the card is authorized, it will be added successfully to your Dianomi account for future payments.
If your card verification fails, please check with your bank provider or reach out to help@dianomi.com for further assistance.
Card Details Required for Setup
When adding a card to your Dianomi account, you will be required to provide the following details:
- Card Number – The 16-digit number printed on the front of your card.
- Expiry Date – The month and year your card expires.
- CVC (Security Code) – A 3-digit code (Visa/Mastercard) or 4-digit code (AMEX) found on the back or front of the card.
- Cardholder Name – The exact name as it appears on the card.
- Billing Address – The registered address associated with your payment card.
Ensuring that these details are entered correctly will prevent payment issues and failed transactions.
How Stripe Secures Your Card Information
Dianomi does not directly handle or store credit card information. Instead, Stripe manages all payment processing, ensuring compliance with the highest security standards.
1. PCI DSS Compliance
Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of security certification in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This ensures that:
- Card details are encrypted before being transmitted.
- No sensitive card information is stored in an unprotected manner.
2. Advanced Encryption & Tokenization
When you enter your card details, Stripe encrypts the data and replaces it with a secure token. This means:
- Your actual card number is never stored or exposed.
- Even in the unlikely event of a data breach, encrypted tokens prevent unauthorized access to your card details.
3. Fraud Prevention & Risk Monitoring
Stripe uses AI-powered fraud detection tools to analyze transactions and detect suspicious activity in real-time.
- If an unusual transaction attempt is detected, Stripe may block it automatically to protect your account.
- Banks and card issuers may also request additional verification before approving high-risk transactions.
4. Secure Payment Authentication (3D Secure 2.0)
For added protection, Stripe supports 3D Secure 2.0 (3DS2), which provides an extra layer of authentication before processing transactions.
- This helps reduce fraudulent transactions by requiring the cardholder to approve payments via their bank’s security process.
